Nice!  Even if I attained the skill, I would never have the discipline or patience to finish a project of this magnitude. I'm always impressed by folks who can tackle such projects.

Wow...very nice ! Is he planning on making it an RC model ? Very detailed, to be sure.

Did any of the other Canucks notice the Twotter beach diorama ? Or the CF-100 in AirDiv camo ?

I swear the kind of people who can pull this off must be from another planet, or the future.

Or both.

Absolutely humbling.

Oh, and is it so wrong to covet someone's model display case?

Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

Plans are available from a couple sources for many large USN ships. The skills involved are basic woodworking and plan-reading. Don't sell yourselves short!

For me it's just a matter of space. I have a 1/192 model of USS New Jersey, BB-62, that isn't coming out of the hobby closet until I rebuild my entire hobby room.

In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.
