The "last years" Corsair, that I couldnt strip properly (thanks for the tips guys) that should have been a float plane (then the super Kingfisher one on HS and Arc put pay to that wif    )

Ive finally got round to starting the weathering and fading etc. The project is giving me a hard time as its 1:72 and I usually build 1:48 ( old eyes and stuff)

I choose the "salmon pink" wheel well option as my tribute to the "Radish and his love of pink...and I believe the first "Birdcages" were so painted.

Im just waiting to pluck up the courage to sand it down with a used scouring pad to bring it all together.......deep breath. It could end up as another "how do I strip this down" post. If it works its on wards with the small bits wheels etc.

As always your tips, critique and abuse ( be nice) :P  is most welcome. :)

Im pink therefore Im Spam...and not allowed out without an adult

Critiques you say?  :P

That "thing" is ugly! :P (spats r missing :P ) Isnt worthy of being called a model (more like a real thing that passed through a machine making things shrink)! Look at that perfect finish!   :ar:  :ar:  :ar:

Yowsa Dork, that's one of the sweetest Corsairs I've ever seen!

Even without spats, it's got a coolness factor that's off the scale!

As I said it was ( honest) going to be a floatplane.....then I wanted to do a "spat" version ,but alas, neither my stash or that of our friend "the hunter collector bloke" had any that would fit. :(  :(  :(  :(  :(

You could say I was dragged back into reality :P
