First a large box file falls on a newly built real world F-89 Scorpion and smashes it and the Lightning F.6 next to it....then I build a new Airfix 1/72 Spitfire F.22, all goes well until the cannon of all things defeat me, I can't get them to look right so after many attempts the kit goes in the bin. Then I try an Airfix F22/24 in 1/48 scale and c**k that up-the upper wings  will just not stay glued to the fuselage-the mating surfaces are so thin that nothing seems to work, so after salvaging the interior that goes in the bin too. My worst ever run of modelling disasters. Life is too short... :banghead:

Go for a cheap and easy build until the mojo comes back.  My disasters usually happen due to a cluttered work space and something falling on it.

Life happens. Things get broken. Models are replaceable. You're not alone; we've all been there. It's annoying and frustrating and all you can do is go on to the next model.
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

I have my 1st opportunity to touch plastic in 6 months & I'm not sure if the mojo is still there. The desire to build is, certainly, but the drive doesn't seem to be.
I have a build started last year that I want to get finished, if possible, before I go away for another 6 months.
See how I go tonight.

This i can sympathise with. I`ve got an Academy EF-111A partly built and i don`t know if it`s the grade of plastic but it`s been a absolute pig to keep some parts stuck together.

I decided to have a go at the Hobby Boss P-40 in my stash on sunday morning and pratically every part, tool or tube of glue i touched ended up on the floor. Luckily i don`t have a carpet monster.

Do  you research your models before you build them ? I read  the reviews first as these giv  handy  tips  of  any faults in the kit.
