I'm looking for reference pics of Kuwaiti Aircraft and their cammo & markings.I'm also looking for ANY source of these markings as decals if you guys know of any,I was thinking that Kuwait being as rich as they are would be one of the few countries that could afford to keep the now phased out F-14 Tomcat flying ;)
THANKS!

I do believe there have been some aftermarket decal sets that cover Kuwaiti F/A-18 Hornets. They'd probably fit just dandy and the camo they have on their hornets would probably look just right on a Tomcat.

one of the polish decal companies did a couple of F/A-18 sheets in 1/72 several
years back. it did include markings for a kuwaiti F-18C ['410']. when i get home
and post here tomorrow, i'll post the sheet details here.

cartena also did a gulf war sheet for some of the middle eastern nations [here a
A-4KU] . this includes the 'free kuwait' inscription.

and in the matchbox EE/BAC lightning T55 kit there are full markings and stencils
for a RSAF and kuwaiti aircraft of this type.

finally there are kuwaiti national markings on the latest in ZOTZ decals series on roundels of the world.

the old airfix Hunter FGA.9 kit (not the new box but the 80's box) has decals for a Kuwaiti Hunter.

The perennial question:  WHAT SCALE???

I have a ton (well, okay, maybe 780 kg) of Kuwaiti decals of various types.  I have a 1/48 F-18 sheet with low-viz and several full color sheets of various sizes.

Tell me what you need and give me your snailmail address.

Couple months ago at an antique shop I found a framed picture of a A-4KU from the Gulf with the Free Kuwait on the side.

At Telford I displayed a Hawk 200 in Kuwaiti markings, they came from the Model Alliance sheet. I am sure they do these in 1/48 and 1/72 scales.

BAe Hawks in Global Service - ML72115. Price £9 from Hannants and includes markings for 10 different countries.

Just be very careful to spot the difference between the Abu Dhabi and the Kuwaiti flags, they look very similar!

Here's all the Kuwaiti aircraft on Airliners.net & JetPhotos.net.  There's several of the A-4 & the Hornet in it's nice smart scheme, although you'll have to scroll through all the Hercs & stuff.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
