Over the last few days i have made a rather startling discovery, a good friend asked me to build a Revell ME110,complete with a comprehensive and very expensive resin and photo etch set from a well known eastern european group of cabbage growers, three other modellers have checked out my dillema and to gether we have reached the following conclusions..

                   1.  the term 'designed for Revell kits' is somewhat arbitary as they
obviously have a different kit than the ones in the hobby shop.
                                                                                                                                          2. After finding 7 of the 30 odd resin parts broken in the sealed ,
freshly opened box,we can only conclude that quality control is
in the safe hands of the collective workers football team.

                    3. The 'instructions ' are realy more of a rough guide

4.The strength of the super glue is directly proportional to the
alignment of the part being glued.

         here endith the lesson....................

Resin aftermarket = pain in the rear.

I agree with you completely...I'd rather fudge around with the kit parts myself. At least the photoetch should be o.k.

I find resin much easier to work with after consuming alcohol.

Try not. Do. Or do not. There is no try.

One thing I do in regards to resin, I go to the lhs to buy it...I am tired of getting a pinholed yellow mass from some supposedly "great" resin company.
