I apologize if this is the wrong thread so if you have to move it I understand. I found some of my first what if models from way back like 20 some years ago. They are the olld Hasagawa YF-16 and Revell and Airfix F-16s and The old Hasagawa F-5  and a Tamiya 1/100th scale F-4K. Im going to start with the Tamiya F-4K in 1/100th scale since the profile section has the FGR2 Phantom in differant markings. This one has no markings but it is painted in overall Lizard 1 scheme like the A-10/A-16 were. Its built out of the box and armed with sparrows and the martel anti ship missiles.

Next I have a Revell YF/F-16A kit with a full load of Sidewinders and sparrows and fuels tanks and a pair of ALQ-119 pods, painted in an early two tone grey scheme that looks close to the Pakistani one but was on the Prototype F-16s and only used for a short time before the one we see them in now.

Here is my Testors 2 seat F-16 done up in the Lizard 1 Scheme that was tried for a time. Its not the same pattern that the ypainted them in because I had no referances to go by so I just made one up.

This F-16 was painted on a picture of an Indian Air Force Mig -21 I had in a old book of Soviet Aircraft. I had no idea of the colors used but I thought that a gunship grey pattern would lok good over the bare plastic the kit came in and its not to bad. Way before they had them painted up in TOP GUN.

This one was painted by hand since I was in the Army at the time and they didn't like the idea of an air brush in the barracks.

The last one here is my Royal Saudi Air Force F-5A. I used the decals from the Matchbox Strikemaster kit in 1/72nd scale and the bombs are from the Airfix/MPC 1/72nd scale F-4 kit. I used paints used in ceramics, water based paints to match the two tone colors used on the BAC Strikemasters.

You probably noticed the rails for the AIM-9's are on backwards. I didn't notice that till long after i had built it and left them on like that.
