It's a great job on a great paint scheme, but it just doesn't flatter the bird. Kinda makes it look fat and dumpy. Maybe it's just as I'm so used to seeing it in silver colours ?

Great job, tho.....too bad it weren't real !

I know what you mean Cap, but that's why I like it, it really does look operational.  I've always thought the F-107 looks a little 'gawky'.  I had to look at some of the pics of the prototype because I could have sworn he'd bulked up the fuselage, but nope, 'common or garden' F-107!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

IMPHO, the -107 would look more elegant if the fuseloge was stretched out a bit.

I keep imagining a flight of those taxiing out behind a flight of Hawker P1121s at a whiff 1970s NATO Tactical Leadership Programme.

now there IS a good thought!  :rolleyes: i smell a future GB coming on here, perhaps.

the F-107 model is very nice indeed. could it have served long enough to have made it into TPS grays?  :huh:

I think its that particular photo, it appears curved to me, and the side opening canopy.

Yep, a flight of those going overhead would be a sight to see (for a very brief moment)...nice jet.
