interesting colin and thanks for posting the link.

that's more money spent,  ^_^. hopefully the PR9 will have as decent a decal sheet
as the original matchbox one had. i like this kit even if the details are WAY TOO
basic. someone will have to do some resin upgrades.

I'm surprized and perplexed at their use of old Matchbox material for the Canberra and night fighter Meatboxes. Not that they are bad kits, in fact as Matchbox goes, they are two of my favorites.

Really have to wonder what extras they'll throw in to them and in what form those extras will come, resin or new injection sprue. Both of them need interiors and the Canberra could use a replacement for its camera bay. I really hope they'll throw in the extras to give the Canberra a proper Gulf War fit. I also wonder if the new Canberra will come with recessed panel lines or if the raised ones of old will be retained.

The  night Meteor really surprizes me though, I mean they're going all out for the first new tooled 1/72 Meteors in around 30 or so years and one of them will be a repop? Well, whatever they do to it, I hope it looks the part in line with the rest of their new tooled ones.

Nice to know a Mk.2 Sea Vixen will be coming up, I may just bypass picking up the Special Hobby Mk.1 as I do have a slight preferance for the lines of the 2.

Revell have indicated taht they would do limited runs of any of their tools for a set fee. it looks like hannants have actually taken them up on it. All the others appear to vaiants on the MPM/Special hobby announcements much as was done with the meteor.

Still its nice to see them announced and i'm sure many on here will be ordering them (anybody thinking that Mike McEvoy could go broke this year with all the announced british types !!!!).

Thought they might have done a wartime Meteor variant, the only one that I know of that you still find in 1/72 is the old Airfix F.3, serviceable but long in the tooth.  A Mk.I & Mk.III would be nice.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Aren't Italeri doing a bunch of Canberras and the B-57 soon ? Or was that Airfix' catalogue I saw that in ?

Furthermore, when is that Nimrod coing out ? Gotta start saving me pennies for that one.......or two.
