Are they still in business? I didn't see them at the Telford show--their website talks about a 2005-2006 release program....and their telephone number is unavailable!

I spoke to soon-I sent an email regarding the 1/72 MB5 kit and got a response this evening saying it would be released next year. So I guess they are still in business

I know what you mean Van I've been waiting years for their Ki-98 to be released. In the end I bought the A & V resin version. When I spoke to him about it at Southern Expo last year he said he was still looking for definitive plans. They are quite reasonable kits though and suprisingly easy to get hold of the range.

I think he concentrates more on his WWI 1/48 scale stuff, which is very, very nice. Indeed the Bristol Scout is an ideal intro to this period.

Idle speculation, but much of Pegasus' market has been taken away by the Eastern European resin producers (Karya, CMK etc). Even his staple (for many years) WW1 items have seem kits from the likes of Roden and Eduard

I still want one of their Have Blue kits.

Surely You jest.  Really. I see the smiley and all, but you have to be kidding. Scratchbuilding the Have Blue is possibly easier than whipping the Pegasus kit into submission.

Their Kikka kit was OK, and so are some of their other kits, but the Have Blue is pityful.

Didnt know their kits sucked that bad.

I dunno, the FJ-1 Fury I've got went together ok (though the wings were a little goofy).

Ones I've got are fine - P-40Q (2 of them) Fury, Arsenal VG 33 (2 of them) and the Fokker DXXIII (2 of them)

Plastics soft which means cleaning up isn't to great but they are nice little kits as far as I'm concerned.

They don't all suck; their Have Blue is way off, though. I don't know if it's because they had poor drawings or the designers were having a bad day when they made the masters, but the kit is not a fun build. Rob De Bie's build (and attempt to correct some of the flaws) should give you an idea.

I can say from personal experience the the Have Blue kit was a complete piece of cr*p. My boxing had all the problems that Rob de Bies did plus a few more. After a huge lot of psr I realized that the kit was dreadful no matter how much effort I put into it. Into the bin it went! I model for personal pleasure and the Have Blue kit was the equivalent of visiting Madam Lash for a bit of BDSM. Definitely not my scene
