hi all
have not much time because some things and masters but found two hours to make my dream true to see a fighter aircraft made of a myrt...
I find this craft very very sleek and with more than 600km/h it would be a nice fighter....
so I reworked the fuselage an d added the canopy from the reppu.
was surprised how good it looks and how nice it fitted.
the reppu kit from fine molds has two canopies...one closed and one opened.
the "schräge musik" is now added too...no photos yet..sorry...
was thinking about forward firing cannons but the other myrt nightfighters hasnt it too...and my idea was to minimalize the drag and make the craft lighter and faster.
so guys...
will it be finished?...dont know...not yet
wanted see if it works....it works

Ya know, when I first read Myrt Nightfighter, I thought "hang about, there was a Myrt Nightfighter, then the images finally loaded (joys of living in the bush i guess) and I saw the single seat....

You did all that in two hours! :o  I takes me two hours just to decide which kit to build!  Seriously, great work yet again; love the looks of it.

Yep, it works, alright (true).

How do you make and shape your resin (?) plug for the top of the fuselage?

my old method Barry...overtaped and filled with resin...
the same art like the on the hellcat and other...
its the simplest and fastest way to reshape the fuselage with minor sanding.
here was something wrong because the fuselage of the myrt is not really round...

Rafael

Wolfik this myrt is freaking awesome!!
I really like the way it looks sitting there on the tarmac in the workbench. It looks fast and mean!!

Man, great Japanese fighter!!!

Clever.  Do you have to use special tape to withstand the curing heat from the resin or just ordinary masking tape, etc.?

hi Barry.
I use double-sided tape because its strenght enough.
the tapes glue on the surface after hardening of the resin can be remowed with a new piece of the tape....simply press to the surface and pull.
hope this helps

Ginge!
