Whats that i see in the background, P-40 with sto-wings?

^_^ THAT, B777LR, is the Commemorative Air Force's Kittiwake FB Mk.1 WA012/N40H, currently held for restoration at Pittsburgh. The reason she's in the background is because she's in poor condition, but I should be able to sort out some better pics of her very soon.

My mum came in yesterday and said "That's not a P-40, P-40s don't have folding wings! Sea Furies do!"

B) Yeah! And what a Sea Fury is! She's in love with P-51s though, when we lived at the airport Mum used to love hearing the P-51D doing a beat-up. Bliss!

Imagine how much she enjoyed seeing TWO of them at Wanaka a couple of years back! ^_^

Bah, imagine 4 (yes 4) DC-3s in formation over an airshow! Thats standard at danish airshows (one danish, one swedish, one finnish and one norwegian), and this year roskilde airshow might even see a Ju-52, Do-24, B-17 (sally B ), B-25, 2 P-51 Gripen and EF-2000  and L-29, ATR-42, A-319, Black Jacks aerobatic team, Hawker Hunter  (note, i said might, not all of these are confirmed)

edit: the aerobatics team was black yaks, not black jacks

It really does look right in this scheme Zac!  Good job, I'm late too, sorry!

My Mum's a bit of plane fan too, she can spot some of the more well known types.  The Vulcan is her favourite, she loves the big tin triangle, not least because one tried to bomb my Dad! Really!     But that's another story.....
