Rafa,
I wish my models could be that finely detailed!!!

My Me 262 bomber only needs the vac-form clear parts added and then its done, expect pics of it sometime this weekend (weather permitting).

Thanks Matrix!  Just a question on the depth of the main wells, are they very deep?  I saw a model with some that seemed shallow, the only way I could think of this working to allow for those huge wheels was for the well floor to retract.

This seems unlikely, but you never know with German engineering!  I know it's a cliche but from some machines I worked with on it really did seem to be true, they were bomb proof.  Trouble was, they were so fit for their purpose, when it came to making a minor modification to them after a change to a product, they nearly had to be completley re-built!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Mossie,

Over at the LSP (Large Scale Planes) site their is a guy by the name of Radu that is making the masters for an upcoming 1/32 scale resin kit of the Ar 234 and you might get an idea on the shape and depth of the wheel wells by looking at his work.
I think his post is in the members build forum, sorry I don't have a link.

Found it, thanks again Matrix!

That coupled with these diagrams on Luft '46 make it easier for me to understand now, there must have been some retraction of the floor to accept the wheels, that's German engineering for you!
