Semi-finished this kit about 4 months ago or so, it's the old revell 1/100 F-8 that got modded into the F-8S for the intermediate export FX comp (F-16/79 and F-20 fame). Only problem is I need a canopy for it as the original is MIA.

Wow, cool.  One of those subjects that looks fast even sitting still.
I think there is one of these combo 1:100 kits at my LHS.  Should I pick it up for you?

John, I would greatly appreciated it!

(Hope that the canopy would fit)

Wow that's great Shas! It never ceases to amaze me how a small mod or two can completely change the look of a subject. Bravo Zulu!

You could weather it up and stick a tarp over the empty canopy?

Or do it roofless following a bird strike or battle damage in a maintainence diorama?

Good News! While rummiging for winglets for my USCG See Master, I found the canopy! With any luck I should have this project off the to-do list tomorrow.

Yeeepeeeeeeeeee! Nothing better than finding a long-lost spare (particularly such an inportant spare as a canopy  ;) )

King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.
