Idea: su-24K!!!

i got this idea the other day:

the Su-24 coudl make an exelent ASW platform, and/or contemproy to the grumman Hawkeye!!! Alas i dont have a su-24 kit, was beeten to it by capitalist scum 1 hour after i saw it! ( lesson learned: if you like it, get them to hold it!)

what do you guys think?

in 23k news. production halted untill after exams. minor cockpit work is progressing

The Su-24 is indeed an awesome bird...but in the role of the Hawkeye ?  Where would you put the turbo-props ?

I could see it in the ASW role, tho....there's one at my local shop in 72nd scale, if you need one ?!

LOL i was thinking of a su-24 with an awacs type turret, lol, do now worry though, the vodka induced vision has passed, though it woudl make a cool ASW platform

SU24 as an ASW machine, possibly. As an AWACS machine, I can't see it really. I'd really rather see it serve along side the MiG27 and SU25 in the strike role, obviously in the long range role.
