I originally planned on doing an RAF CH-53 Stallion but I left it a bit late & so decided to do something simpler to make sure it gets finished on time... so, take one Academy 1/72 A-37, throw together with superglue in a day or so & add Argentine colours & markings...

Nice looking and very plausible, indeed. Do you think it could be based in Port Stanley airport?

Wow Mike that looks great for just being "thrown together". I really like that camo scheme. Perfect for the South Atlantic.

it's done! and with a whole day to spare (most unusual...)

A-37B Dragonfly A-520 of 3 Grupo de Ataque, FAA, deployed to Port Stanley Airfield, April 1982. Seen before the later addition of yellow ID bands, this aircraft took part in a number of missions against the British advance, using rockets & bombs.  This was one of two aircraft captured by British forces & later returned to the UK where it now resides at RAF Cosford

Lovely model Mike!  And just in time for the anniversary of the end of the conflict too. :salute:  :salute:  :salute:
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Nice!

It might be nice to do a British Army Air Corps BAC Strikemaster - as an alternative to helicopter gunships. A carrier-capable version might even be possible as a Royal Marine aircraft to operate off Hermes (keeping the arrestor gear and a cat, but with a bow ramp for Sea Harriers. Being a lot smaller than Harriers, they might have been able to be stacked in the hangar, with detachable wings, being stored in ISO containers. Once the ground forces land, they set up a short improvised runway, and land a squadron or two of Strikemasters to operate from these bases...

Looks Good Mike  :)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Gorgeos looking machine you've done there Mike. Nice work.
If you love, love without reservation; If you fight, fight without fear - THAT is the way of the warrior

If you go into battle knowing you will die, then you will live. If you go into battle hoping to live, then you will die
