I saw this kit on the shelf and thought I would get it, the 21st Century 1/32 scale Opel Blitz.
This is a very easy to build model with very few parts and is mostly assembled right out of the box.

Here is what it looks like with the cab and truck bed attatched...with none of the small bits added.

With a little extra detail painting and weathering this will be a nice looking model and will look good in my photobase pics with my future 1/32 scale Luftwaffe planes.

This model will get a three color camouflage in a what-if ''ambush scheme'' and then plenty of weathering like my Ju 87G had. :D

Even without weathering, it looks pretty realistic  B)

Wow, I didn't know they made those!  Sweet!

Realistic in the extreme...and it's not even done yet!

Yep, as much as I want to hate those kits, they are just great.

Not only does it look good O.O.B. it also has operating cab doors and engine hood. The cab is made of metal but the rest of the kit is plastic. I have not tried to dry fit the smaller detail parts yet but so far I have not seen any reason why they would be a problem in the final assembly of the kit. :)

BTW, 21st Century also makes a WWII U.S. Army Halftrack.

I`ve waited years for someone to do reasonably priced ground equipment for dio`s. I move up to 48th and Acadamy start with their great little vehicles in 72, now there making them in 1:32! I give up. :banghead:

HOG,
This is a fine kit, but would have been much better if they had made it an Opel Blitz fuel truck! Who knows, maybe they will someday.

If they don`t I`m sure it`ll soon appear as a resin fuel tank at about four times the cost of the kit

Astonishing photo as usual! You must try to post your pics at the Key publishing forum one day
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.
