Just in case you haven't been over to the USAF 60th Anniversary Group Build, here's a taste of my entry, the Lockheed-Martin YF-113 Diamondback. The entire project only took me two days. Sometimes it pays to work small.

Still thinking about recreating this in larger scale.  How do you envision the landing gear lay-out?

I picture it with tricycle gear, nosegear ahead of the jet intake, retracting forward. The two sets of rear landing gear would be about halfway down each "wing", aft of the missiles. I imagine double-bogey gear all-around. Alas, spats don't seem like they'd be very beneficial on this bird.

Wow it'd be great to see you pull this off in a larger scale, Mr Howling Mouse! Keep us posted.
