Nicknamed 'the Penguin' by it's crews, the Noratlas 'Nightcrawler' was a spec. ops. variant of the venerable Noratlas. The nose is from a Matchbox Skyknight, while the tip tanks are from a CF-100 kit ( sorry, Brian ! ) I added 4 7.62 mgs, a 40mm cannon, as well as a multiple grenade launcher deal in the back door. Perfect for beating up on those nasty VC !

I really like the way this one turned out, the new nose and the tip tanks really set her off.

Looks great, Toad! That camo scheme and French markings really add to this build as well as those sleek wingtip tanks! Nice job!

That French WWII camo and wingtip tanks are always cool. Combined they are SUPERCOOL :wub:  :thumbsup:  :wub:  :thumbsup:  :wub:

I think it's the nose that does it for me.....the 'real' Noratlas is just funny looking, to me, anyway.

I'll post more piccies once I clean her up, adding aerials, paint touch ups, and some weathering.

As with C-130B, the nose totally change the look of the aircraft! I love the CF-100 tip tanks, too  :wub:  
This model looks so good!!
