kinda was bored on an afternoon, i decided to do a little painting to keep me busy  ^_^

Back History

this aircraft is Flown by former Soviet pilot, Lt. Sergei Romanenska, who bought the aircraft on the surplus market in the Ukraine, he painted the tof of the aircraft in a Dutch solo F-16 style paintjob, and diplays it on airshows all over the world, his first performance was on the Leutonian AF open days, and he was the star of the show. however, the aircraft was not de-militarised when he bought it, therefor he wants the aircraft to fly onder russian civilian register, and could be called upon for military duties or as a vigilante fighterpilot.

the aircraft got its baptism to fire when the LAF open days was attacked by leslian F-7BG fighters, he offered his services to the LAF and shot down 3 F-7 fighters using 2 Aphids and a 30mm cannon. ant the end, King Zander I, for Leutonia gave him a medal of honor for his contribution to protect the country.

Lt. Romanenska can still be seen flying this year on airshows in Belgium, Netherlands, the UK, russia and the USA.  B)

The model

the model is an old Revell 1/144 MIG-29 kit that i placed in storage to be used in future builds, since it hasnt been used for a while, ive decided to give it a pimpy little paint job, the underside still needs some work though  ;)
