Montex, well known for their masks are getting into the big resin kit business.  Their first kit is a CAC Boomerang & the parts shots in SAMI look fantastic.  No idea of price, but I expect it's not going to be cheap.  The Boomer's eminently whiffable, so if any one isn't short of a bob or two & fancy's doing a large scale whiff, keep your eyes peeled for this one!

Their other release is going to be a 1/32 Gloster Gamecock, they must have a thing for chubby fighters!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Hi All,

Landed myself a copy about two weeks ago...absolutely awesome in terms of quality and detail. Even to the point that I'm feeling a bit intimidated.

In the well-packed box is some fantastic resin (the fuselage and wings are amazing), vac-form canopies, PE, metal U/C legs and masks for the markings.

Having grown up on the odd Revell/Matchbox/Hasegawa 1/32 kits, this is in an entirely different league. I do not know, in terms of quality, how the Montex kit stands up against the Fisher and MDC models.

Large Scale Planes had some previews and Cybermodeler recently had an in-box preview.

Prices range from AUS$170 to AUS$250.

Cheers.

Here's the link to the large scale models site Greg, a lot of pics on there.  This is the 'final' page, there are further links on this to five pages of a test shot preview:

Here's the Cybermodeler page, lot's of sprue shots, minus casting plugs:

And here's Montex's page on the kits, the only sprue shots are of the Gamecock, but the Boomer's instruction sheet is covered completely.  There's parts for the CA-12, 13 & 19 variants:
