Does anyone other than Hasegawa-sama make a 1/72 F-15J? I'm tempted to just get an F-15A/C from a "lesser" manufacturer for half the price or less, but I'm suffering a shortage of Hinomaru roundels.

What the heck am I planning? Oh, nothing... just a simple OOB non-kitbash build....

IIRC the only difference between a C and J is the J lacks the ECM bullets at the top of the fins.

You can find inexpensive Hobbycraft versions on E-Bay.  'Nuff said.

How are the hobbycraft F-15s?

In terms of modern 1/72 jets, so far I've handled their Su-22, Su-25, Mig-29, F/A-18, and Yak-36 and found them all uh  interesting, with the Yak-36 being the best of the lot but not by much at all.

There's also some other off-brand F-15J's on eBay.  I forget the name, but it's a knock off of a Hasegawa F-15.

Dang, I wish I could remember it's name.  Began with an "A"...
