"Things to Come" was on again at the weekend on BBC - part of the "Summer (joke) of British Films" series. Now there has been a model based on one of the aircraft in the film on this site but the one that intrigues me in the film is the autogiro near the end of the film. Perhaps the most realistic futuristic aircraft in it. Very nice streamlined body but with the pusher prop "enclosed" within the tail apendage - even now it looks realistic, and plausable

Was wondering what could be used to start building it ?

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

You could start with a Gazelle or an MBB 107 - that would take care of the front end/

There's a (very expensive) 1/32nd scale resin kit of that very 'gyro. I cannot recall the name of the manufacturer off the top of my head, but it's a recent release, within the past year, IIRC.

Edit: Herb Deeks models - see one here.
