I think that might be a bit too much day-glo orange for a Coastie scheme.  Maybe make the wings white, and have the orange on the fuselage taper back in a v-shape to the tail between the exhausts, leaving more white on the fuselage?

I like the look of the actual model itself, though.  It's pretty sweet.

I might try making the wings white. I went for so much orange because I was using this photo I took as a reference. There can never be too much orange for a Coastie.

WOW! This ain't your daddy's Coast Guard!  Can't wait to see what the Boy Scouts will be flyin' next year  

I like the speckle look but the bright coastie paint isn't bad either.

Ah, ok, I was wondering if you were going for the Dolphin's scheme.  Everything else the Coasties fly look more white than not.  I like the look of their Guardians:

There it sit on the "needs finishin' side of the shelf, mocking me with that "you don't know what to do with me" snear. I'll bring it down and see what happens.
