Sorry, I guess I'm looking for a probe like this:

But I don't see one in the photo.

Actually, there isn't a probe on it, but it does have the probe attachment bracket just over the cockpit. You can see it just at the tip of the Polaris' nose in the first picture.

Wonder why the probe isn't on it? Off for maintenance perhaps?

And Italy don't have their own E-3s anyway, do they?  US, France & UK are the only NATO members with their own AFAIK.
