the tsr with the first fit of the spits wings

found that a lower wing looked better than a sholder or mid mounted wing

Wings of the Spitfire looks 1/48 scale no ? Sounds logical, the Spit being much smaller than the TSR-2...

Terrific idea!
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

That long wing on the TSR.2 makes it look like something built for high altitude.  How about PRU colors?
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

already have a big wing tsr2 which is part of my telford colection.
no the spit is 1/32

I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

as i build the tsr version these wings just seam so right. It is becoming quite a joy to behold with such classic lines.
