....however I don't want to take credit for discovering it-Windsor and Newton Acrylic Matt Varnish. I can't remember who suggested it, so whoever you are-thanks!

Airbrushed?   And being acrylic it should never take on that amber cast, eh?

I've only used it once so far-brushed on. Will try it by airbrush soon.

I didn't thin it-although being acrylic, I imagine water will be ok.

I can't speak for Windsor-Newton's acrylic matte varnish, but water thins their acrylic gloss varnish just fine.

It thins well with water-I just airbrushed some successfully. Bye bye xtracrylix matt varnish....
