I'd love to see a model of her. Such a sweet looking bird. Why the 4 engines on such a small plane, tho ?

I had wondered about that on the BAe 146 too, I would have thought two slightly bigger engines would have done the trick.

There has been a proposal for a BAe-146 with two CFM-56 engines.

The Japanese probably went with 4 engines for reliability.
