After the unsuccessful "coup" of  GW Bush early 2008,  Vermont leaves the Union. This secesion is in the background from the laters 90 (see establishment of the Second Vermont Republic in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Vermont_Republic).

Negotiation with Quebec  to make a new union last until 2012.
During this 4 years the new nation decide to get a new aviation unit after loosing the ANG's  F-16.

Boeing refuse to sell  F-22, but agrees with selling F-32,  launch after the failure of F-35 due to the dismiss of  Europeans and delays.

The "Greens Mountains Boys" chose the reco-fighter version.
