Ahh....420. What a lovely squadron !





491....422...whatever ! It always strikes me as to why people add bogus markings to a/c. You went thru all the trouble of sandblasting it, polishing it, painting the proper surfaces etc.....then add goofy stenciling that they never wore ?

That does look good,  I see they stuck a mannequin in it too.  Seems to be the craze these days, they put one in on the CF-5 I worked on for the Military Museum in Calgary:

That's no mannequin....I'm pretty sure he was winking at me !

As for the bogus markings, that nose number isn't half as bad as the titles around the fuselage roundel.
