The 1/72 Airfix Lysander would be another good donor kit!

Then there's the 1/72 (Supermodel? Revell?) CR-42.

Also, KP makes some cool 1/72 spatted Avias that are $10 or less depending where you shop.

For a spat tail wheel, look for the Matchbox, or the Revell re-release of the Heinkel He-70 kit
