Nice to see this one getting finished, looking forward to seeing it with markings. I think you did a great job on the paint!

Glad to have you back in action too :)

Whoo-hoo...I'm going back to all the posts I've missed since our move.
PD7, did you ever get decals on this fantastic paint-job?

That's a beauty.   Especially for hand-painting.  It looks every bit as good or better than most spray jobs.

The only thing sexier might be a WW Mirage 4000. . .

PDS,

It is good to see your "Belette Sauvatage" once again and much closer to being finished.  I remember all of your original problems that you had experienced with this project back when you first started.

BTW: Hi PD7, I love Mirage III and F1, but I agree with you about Mirage IV   B)

Hello folks!!

Thanks for the new comments and the revival of the topic!!

The Egyptian Mirage 2000-15 is almost finished. Actually it only needs a little bit of weathering (another thing I never tried!!) and an ECM pod on the central pylon.

Here are some pictures I already posted in a GB topic, but I forgot to update this thread:

I'm sorry for the pictures: I know that I have not the skills of some of our members when it's time to take a photograph!

As soon as I REALLY finished it, I will tell you!!

For the moment, I could resume all the new stuffs I learn on this model!
-I redrew the panel lines myself, in order to make them engraved.
-I scratch a lot of things on it, for the first time (the dorsal and ventral electronic stuffs, the wings and tail fins and the missile pylons)
-I tried to enhance my hand paint skills (but I admit that the Tamiya masking tape JHM sent to me helped me some times!!)
-I tested new goodies (clamps, masking tape, KLIR/Future, styrene sheets etc..)

And it still isn't finished!  :P

PS: What would you think if this Wild Weasel plane is currently escorting an Egyptian F-2à Tigershark full of LGB??  :D Do I have o build it?
Is it a good idea?

Tres Magnifique!!

And, when it's this good, you can have her escort whatever you'd like!

Oh I do love that scheme. Kinda like a Eucalyptus leaf design. Nice work.

I missed this one too somehow.

Superb looking Mirage PD!

Very impressive paint job.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

The CFTs give an aggressive look and what a paintscheme !
