The one week GB - what a good idea for a little light modelling therapy! A simple kit, that'll do the trick! Look in the loft insulation - aha, a PM Lippisch P.13a - also a Messerschmitt P.1111. So simple, do both.
Simple? Basic kit = sand, fill, take shares in Miliput, search references - far more work than than an up-market kit with the details already there. I'm old enough to know this - but the memory failed again.
A result at last - at least the colours are no more right or wrong than anyone elses.

They look great.  What scale are they in?  1/100?  I have a tamiya 1/100 ME-262 and Komet kit on the shelf waiting for something like this.

Thanks, noxioux. They are both PM 1/72 kits, made in Turkey, I think.  As far as I know they are the only ones available in 1/72. Only £3.99 in the UK, but VERY crude - OH! the gaps and the fit!
The P.1111 in particular had no side walls to the air intakes - thank goodness for a stack of lead foil from old dental x-ray packets.

nice work glenn!  B)

btw, PM used the lippisch P.13A as artwork on their credit card sized calender for 2007. i know because i have it on the wall behind the workbench and have been looking at it all year long.

Brilliant Builds. Got the P1111 at home, will get around to building it one day

Sweet.  Nice job on the finish, especially at 1:72 scale.
