This is AMT's Star Wars snow speeder, but for the life of me, I can't paint anything the way it is supposed to be (that's why I like it here  -_-).  I figure this is something that the Air Force will be flying in the next century.

This only took me something like 3 years to finish, and it is the first thing I've finished in at least 5 years

The next one is going to have the laser cannons replaced with SUU-23 gun pods.
And the one after that is going to have some nice turned aluminum tank barrels from Eduard.
And the one after that is going to be an electronic warfare version.
And.....the list of ideas goes on and on......

That's cool, I always thought that would look cool with the bfe engines off Anakin's podracer.

Nice...looks awesome in those colours ! Congratulations on finishing a model !

The snowspeeder is my fave from Star Wars. Had a little diecast as a kid, and I took it everywhere. Used to love turning with the airbrakes ! Then when the released the 72nd scale plastic ones about a decade ago...I ran out and bought a pair. It was preety embarrassing when i got caught standing in the back of a pick-up at work flying around the snowdrift that had built up there......

Nice going!

I think it would be ideal for the Marines as a ship launched close support aircraft and that camo scheme works very well.

This was my first time using masks of any kind, and I'm sold on them!  I've always done freehand camo jobs, but this turned out way better.

For the Marines, I've been toying with building some kind of 4 or 5 barrel rotary cannon to replace the laser cannons.  Have to add a BIG supply of ammo too!

Thanks for all the compliments!  Now I'm motivated to do more!

Anything in Marines livery gets my vote.

Very cool.  I've always liked these kinds of departures from the normal OOB star wars builds.

Why not see if you can get a pair of 106mm recoiless rifles to replace the laser cannons?  You can source these from AFV Club as a kit with a TOW missile and it is also available in one of the Academy Vietnam M113 kits.
