BDB would probably want to build it with spats....That would certainly look unique.

What about a Greek on? They seriously look at the Mig-AT trainer once, and they have theorically nothing against Russian systems... moreover if they are equiped with NATO weapons!!

Sorry, I always enjoyed the idea of Russian planes with American missiles since I read a French comics with a Mig-29 Agressor fitted with Sidewinder and Maverick!!

Didn't someone (B777?) do an Indian 1.44?  And very nice it was too

I've been thinking about some of the more obscure old Soviet states, Uzbekistan, Belarus etc, or even MiG 1.44 for make benefit glorious nation of Kazakhstan???  Getting the decals could be tricky though, might have to tap someone up who has the Zotz World Roundels sheets.

Japan is a possibility too, since the US won't let them the have the Raptor, maybe the JASDF buys Russian?  Australia, or any other country that are looking at the F-22 with wide eyes could also be an option?
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Doesn't Belarus just use the Red Star? There's nowt wrong with that as it's nice and bright.

Ukraine, is of course, a good one, and Moldavian decals (MiG-29) are available from Blue Rider (hannants).
Cambodia? using Blue Rider MiG-21 decals?

And, of course, East Germany?

Good call great jedi master. Finished in the dark grey scheme the Indian Air Force uses on their Su-30MKIs.
Personally i like the look, but it is a bit boring. Might get it out some day and sand off the old paint and repaint it as a russian aircraft.

Belarus does use the Red Star Rad, but their colour schemes tend to be different to Russian aircraft, just might look a little different.  Anthony has done a Ukranian machine (see link above).  Moldova, Cambodia & East Germany are all good!  I like the idea of putting Western ordanance on a Russian machine though....

Build up the kit and sit it on a tarmac diorama with a ladder, crew, fuel truck, etc. Then, with nozzle pointing straight down, spray copious amounts of gloss coat, mabye with darker gray as well. Remove airplane.

I'll get me coat.

How updating the green and gray MiG-29 scheme, with lighter lower contrast colors and a splinter pattern, with darker/lighter leading edges to represent radar absorbing material? If you're feeling really adventurous, give it a light dusting of sparkly purple on the edges to imply "plasma stealth."

Comrade, your unexpected announcements about the glorious technological achievements trouble me.  How did you know of the existence of such projects?  Perhaps we should have a little talk...

Damn, there goes my surprise project.  You suck, party pooper!
