To me it looks like a German design built by captured German technicians for the Russians :wacko:

a nice looking build you have there ... 'odd rods' were part of the ariel fit for the standard Soviet era iff. system, pretty much ubiquitous on almost all Soviet era aircraft, look for three small flat section blades measuring app 3-6'' in height, usually mounted near the nose and tail  ...

I always thought the "Odd Rods" moniker NATO forces first gave these aerials was cool since they honestly did not know what the heck they were for (for quite awhile, by the looks of things) and it was bugging them.
I still have books which show them but state that there purpose remained (at that time) "unknown."

Looking forward to more progress from you on this one.
