Nick

Well, it is about time my talents were finally recognised for the works of extreme brilliance they truly are....  ;D

I accepting this award I'd like to thank my Mum, Dad, sisters, Gran, Grandad, my teachers (well, the two I actually liked), the people I work with, my employers, the girl at the chippie who gives me a smile, the Librarian "Ook Oook!", Terry Pratchett, Neil Armstrong, Queen Elizabeth the First, Jack Cornwell, Winston Churchill, Martin the Glorious What-if SIG Leader and the other wonderful members of the SIG who are nearly as great as myself......   ;D

On a more serious note....

Lance, really hope you get better soon. Do keep us updated on how you do.

Chris, do hope your cold clears up quick so you can get out to the rainforest. If you meet a little Librarian out there give em a banananana for me! Ook! -_-

I am surprised that it seemed to be mostly my models from the What-If stand on that picture site, there were many others on that table and in the centre that were much better. I am still blown away by that 1/32 EAP, the guy scratchbuilt it aged 16 in 1988 when it first flew and wrote to BAe for colour samples. It's picture 10 on the page.
Was good to meet everyone again and I spent a good amount there too. Thanks also to those who helped sell my unwanted models and magazines, means more space for me to have my model stash!

Well if I find the librarian I'll definately take him to the Discworld Convention in August - if I find Banarama I make take them home - depends on how well they have aged

Great pictures Martin thanks for the link - and Nick I told you a while ago you were becoming a more then competent modeler

What was the venue like by the way ?

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I thought it was good. Lots of nooks and crannies to explore....or is that crooks and nannies?
Anyway....certainly a big venue in terms of area.
Not sure if yoy'd have coped with the stairs at your age, though
Once you've visited the land of the Loonies, a return is never far away.....

They had a wheel chair lift for the old foggies Terry LOL
I always hope for the best.

experience has taught me to expect the worst.
