Hi All
"Heh, heh, well I hope the build goes well since it's like a Seinfeld episode so far, the way you describe events (I like it). "
After the intro to this build I feel I should add the following  :-

The nose on this model has broken off more times than I care to remember. The unpainted photos show a greyness in the plastic on the nose. This is the mix of milliput and lead showing thro` where the plastic is sanding thin.

Going for a scheme for this my decal options were either Irish Air Corps, Israli or Vichy French. None of which are suitable either due to the shape of the plane or it`s history. I was left with an old History maker decal sheets for the X15 in two sizes. I also found some Xtradecal stripes in yellow and roundel blue which came in useful. How I wish I hadn`t given away my decal remnant collection of 15+ years.

Painting. How can you bend the needle on an airbrush when it`s inside the airbrush body and screwed back as far as possible?. I gave the model a squirt of Humbol Alu` from a rattle can and masked off for a NMF. SPLATTER EVERYWHERE!. So thats why the models painted via brush of the hairy stick variety. New head and needle on order for the AB.

Ps I also knocked over the Micro Set bottle, the camera batteries died mid shoot, and the dog was sick on the cat. Seinfeld,  he gets it easy.
