Got hold of the latest issue of Air Combat today. As usual very old news, but its all in one magazine! -_-

Most interesting i think, is that the Algerian deal for 36 MiG-29SMTs is at risk of being cancelled, reason being that the aircraft delivered are second hand, and not new built  Algeria has thus halted deliveries. As turned out, these frames were also delivered to syria, as new builds, but also returned when it was discovered they were second hand... (Su-30MKAs havent suffered these problems)

I suppose this will mean that Algeria might begin looking at Rafales, EF2000s and Gripens again?

Apart from that:

Argentina to get SAAB 340s (replacing F-27s)

Algeria to get Super Lynx and EH-101

Canada to get C-130J

Iraq to get Cessna 208B

Brazil to get either Rafale, EF2000, Gripen or Su-35

Venezuela to get Il-76 and 78

Morocco might get F-16 and T-6

UAE wants Hawkeyes

USN unveils EPX program (replacement for EP-3E fleet, Boeing 737 vs Northrop A320 or Embrear E190)

MoD begins search for new SAR helo, replacement for Sea Kings and AW139 and S92.

Thats all for now, theres some nice articles on the N. Korean Air Force, F-15 problems, F-35, USAF in korea, F-16s being replaced by UAVs :o, Rafale, Beriev Be-12, etc.
