now just what are or could've been the military applications of the 188 apart from research?  :huh:

well all they lernt from the 188 as a research tool, was to never build another stainless steel airframe. But im sure ive seen drawings of a 188 lugging wing tip rails for redtops. More likly it would have evolved into a recci bird. its not as big as you might think, there bugger all head room under the wings thats for sure (spent many an hour under its wing on the coventry & warwickshire stand LOL)

Plans are being put into place to try and do the show as I've never been to Cosford - hangs head in shame  :o

no shame in it at all chris. for some one like your self who hasnt got their own transport, Cosford isnt the easiest of places to get to.

Right I'm sorted. Travelling up Saturday coming home Monday. Staying at a Place in Shifnall called "Naughty Nell's" !! :wacko:

Looks like the Cosfird show is going to be a hell of a garhering!!! I'm really looking forward to it.
