You Sir, have got weathering/stainage down to a scientific art (or an artistic science?).

Nice!

Absolutely true

A side note:   Is this guy trying to make us leave modeling?
Will die without understanding this world.

Thanks ysi_maniac!

I hope to finish this model sometime late next weekend, the only thing that bothers about building this kit is the mounting of the main landing gear legs, there is not a very positive location as to where they go and is a poor design feature of this kit. Too bad really, this is one of MPM's better kits and the best looking prop aircraft I have ever seen.

Looks killer Matrixone! I really like the smudges around the gun ports and the staining on the engine nacelles. Those touches add some nice realism. I'm looking forward to your next update.

Almost done with it, by next weekend it will be done and taken to the airfield for pictures.

I just love the weathering, especially the almost invisible - but there - discoloration around the gun ports. Subtle and effective.

Excellent Build Matrix. Can hadly wait to see the completed pix with the outdoor scenery.

Thank you very much Frank and Mark!

I have fun weathering models such as this, sure it takes a little longer to finish a model by doing this but I think it is time well spent. ;D
