Nev nailed it!  Baztastic!!!

Always love blue themed camos.  This is stunning.  I really like how you did the cockpit open!

Agreed, Baztastic.... and in this place, this is probably the best compliment we can give.

That turned out great, Ed! The camo scheme is wonderful and the open canopy and detailed seat really bring it to life!

That camo scheme is one of the best, most original, most beautiful that I have ever seen
I'll second that! Stunning finish and the open canopy is a nice finishing touch.

A magnificent model! The colour scheme is beautiful and the detailing excellent.

To me that's the Oscar of the Whiff world. I still like to stare at that paint work. Believe me, I spent more time at sea than most would care to do and you nailed the look. Bravo Zulu! (I wish we had own salute emoticon right about now. ;D)

Thanks, guys.   -_-   And I agree: A very Baztastic scheme and execution.  A long, looooong time ago, I had posted a colored pencil experimental sketch of a similar water camo concept but, the second I saw Ed's, I realized exactly what had been missing from my version.  His is just so organic and, well, fluid!

And the fact that you pulled this off in 1:72 just amazes me, Ed.

Found it!  Here was that old "camo coral scheme."  Now, I know how to do it properly!  Maybe an XF5U-1 "Pancake"?

Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

Thanks, everyone, for the kind words.  If I didn't already have a swollen ego, they might go to my head.

Nice "coral camo" JHM.  It would probably look good on a model as well.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.
