Depends.  How big are your original graphics?

I would take a measurement of similar markings from a 1:48 decal sheet or finished model.  In photoshop, simply draw a rectangle that matches those dimensions (8mm x 10mm, for example).  Then bring your custom marking in on a new layer, and simply use ctl-t (free transform) to scale the custom marking as close as possible to the box.

You could also scan a 1:48 decal sheet, making sure to keep the aspect ratio 1:1.  Scan it directly from photoshop (file > import >), then bring in the custom graphics into new layers, and use the free transform to scale them properly with similar graphics on the scanned sheet.

The thing to remember about photoshop is that you can do everything about 10 different ways. . .
