I've got kits in 1/72 of HMMWV's and Bradley's, I think if this setup was going on anything it would have to be one of these. Bradley is getting my vote because it could carry enough ammo.

Yes, that would be logical. However, this what if, my question is, is a Japanese equivalent to a Cushman utility scooter being armed and ready for malicious intent. And it'd be a lot more realistic than Jesse Ventura hefting a minigun with lots of ammo all by his lonesome, as was seen in the movie Predator. Something like this would be more a guerilla type vehicle in an urban setting, although going even crazier and adding a set of caterpillar treads from a Bobcat might make it doable for sneaking around in the forest.

Nord SS10 missiles would look appropriate and period.

or SS11.
Heller did a version of their AMX-13 that included SS11 missiles:

There is a single 106mm RCL in the Academy Vietnam M-113.

Or there are two 75mm RCLs in the Tamiya US Weapons set.

Or if you had a Tamiya M-16 and the turret was spare, there's your complete unit right there.

Hope this Helps...  ;D

Would a quartet or sextet of M20 recoilless rifles do the trick? Or something like Stalin's Organ?(MLRS)

I think those two 75mm RCLs in the Tamiya US Weapons set would be your best bet  They would be a bit smaller than the one on the M-113
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
