OV-10 and F-104 at Hill AFB Museum

They finally finished this OV-10 a couple of weeks ago.  The last time I saw it it was gutted, sanded, and very humble looking.  Much better now.  Anyhow, I was particularly interested in this bird because I have a soft spot for the Bronco.  They were still in service while I was in, and did us some very big favors once or twice.







It looks like they're starting on an F-104 as well.  This one ought to be something to watch for, too.  The museum at hill already has a great Century series collection, and I'm pretty sure the 104 is the only thing missing. . .

I spoke to Pat last week regarding the Bronco (also was under repair when I last saw it).  He said that the "Crew Chief" for it is an ex Bronco driver.

Also took some pics of the P-47 which was the first time I saw that one finished.  They are still in the camera though as the home computer is having issues  :banghead:
