Thats a great looking "bird"  ...not so much a WIF as a could / should have been.

Not sure if its the camera flash or a little bit of decal solution could benifit the roundles.

Yes there is a little silvering around some of the decals. Although it is less apparent on the real thing. Didn't use a flash on the photos so next time I think I'll beter use some setting solution here.
Very strange though. No silverng when applied. Then I give it another coat of futur, still nothing. Then a coat of flatt varnish et voila, a bit of silvering appears. Has happened before.

That's really killer, Patrick and I think the squadron badges on the tail and mace insignias are the icing on the cake!

You can really turn out a stunner!

Yep its happened to me as well (a few times ) and its an absobloominloutly a pig to fix. Its to do with the pigment in the varnish. If you remember ( I never do....duh) you can "float the decal in a small pool of Klear when you apply them and dry off with a hair dryer (not dirrect and close)
There again you may be like me and find at the end of a build life is just to short to be  arsing about. LOL.
Its still a nice build and a good concept.

Dork, I'll try the futur/kllir puddel trick a next time but indeed, at the end of my build I usually can't be bothered with the silvering annymore. After all, it hardly shows on the real build, if it shows at all.
