S.H.A.D.O Mobile 1 and 2.

Whilst waiting for paint to dry, and deciding whether I like the final colour scheme or not, I built SHADO mobile 2. This vehicle is purely a mobile missile launcher for shooting down UFO's in the Earths  atmosphere. Mobile 1 is mainly used as a defence vehicle against direct attack of SHADO  HQ, hence the semi desert paint scheme, but can and does get deployed into field operations. Mobile 2 is a rapid deployment vehicle and like SHADO 1 is amphibious and can be launched from a transport aircraft, or skydiver as it is fully water tight. The missiles used on the vehicle are an upgraded version of the AIM-54 Phoenix missile which SHADO purchased from the US Navy when they were retired. Because this missile has such an adaptable airframe and warhead interchangeability, SHADO  acquired  virtually the whole Navy inventory of these missiles, and the blue prints to build their own. These missiles are used on SHADO aircraft, vehicles and shipping, including submersibles.
Mobile 3 will be a larger more nimble vehicle with mixed armament, and radar capability, it can work alone, or as part of a combined weapons system that involves all 3 mobile units.

Very Cool!!!!!!! almost look like a Scheme i'd seen on some tanks in the Video Game 'Seek & Destroy'!!!!!! Can't wait to see more!!!!!!

Thanks for the comments guys, I was not too sure about the scheme on SHADO mobile 1 (the desert one) and I was considering re painting it like the other mobile. But I thin I will leave it......for now
