Are you putting it on Starship modeler as well ? ;D

You know Steve, I've had a build thread on there for quite a while with not much interest.  Since I posted finished pics a week ago there have been three replies, and one of those was our own Puddingwrestler, so I dont think they like it that much.  To be honest I sometimes think that if it doesn't go Where No Man Has Gone Before or come from A Long Time Ago they don't really care that much over there.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Well thats a shame but if I was you I'd be putting in to a comp somewhere

Beautiful! All de details, the main shape, the painting :) Masterpiece! Thanx for sharing   :drink:

I think it's the paint job that makes the difference: the size of the lettering and the little details are all just right, and that makes you see it "in-scale", if you see what I mean.

Put it another way: even knowing what it's made from, you still have to force yourself to see the airplane shapes. Relax and look away for a moment and it jumps straight back to being a big spaceship rather than a collection of (relatively) small aircraft parts.

Class job, Sir!

Agree with all the other comments ;D   I get a similar lack of interest at SM. I don't get it :huh:Luckily I found this site which is clearly the best worldwide modeling site on the web

Thanks for those Nick.  Truly inspirational - I was talking to Terry on Sunday about my plans for an Imperial Roman starship......

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I didn't reply on the SM board because I had already drooled so much over here, but I was surprised at the lack of responses over there because I seriously think this is one of the most kickass space ships I have ever seen.

Agreed. This is Sci Fi modeling at its best, taking a bunch of pieces from a bunch of kits, creating a few jobs for certain pieces, adjusting everything until you are satisfied and painting it! Im shocked it hasn't received the attention it deserves.

I'd maybe put a reply on anyway, sometimes it takes a few posts to get peoples interest up.  I've found that here sometimes, threads don't seem to get lively until they have about five posts, I've sometimes seen them languish for a little while then shoot off when people get on the bandwagon & start firing ideas off each other.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
