Thanks for the responses guys!

Rafael, I'm not exactly sure what the red thing is behind the canopy. All the nose art came from a F-105 sheet, the red figure was from the same jet as all the other art.

Thanks for the compliment tinlail. All these photos are taken on my little coolpix point and shoot. I have a DSLR, but I still can't find/afford a lens that will allow me to do closeups like these.

Chris

From the angle of your picture, it almost looks like it could be a "zap" marking of the "Phantom Character" from an F-4 squadron.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

I get a real F-4 feel but in a F-14 package. Great work!

Yeah, I believe we're refering to the same character, a small man in a coat with a funny hat and toting a podded gatling gun. I don't know why I remember him by the name 'Spooky'

If so, is a very fortunate decoration for you bird, Coops

It's been a long time coming, but I finally got this this one completed! For the nose gear I used an F-18 strut turned around and trimmed a little. The weapons were a bit of a pain to attach, but I think it was well wort the effort. Now to the pictures.

Thanks to everyone who contributed ideas

Cheers,
Chris

Sweet looking man, not sure about the practicality of the aft 2 TERs, but it looks bad a** none the less!

In the future, when the expression "attack bird" is written, it should be accompanied by images of your airplane.
