Here is another creation from the Sequoiaranger industries Tigercat range.
This aircraft belongs to the Honduras navy this time, and is tasked with patrolling the coastline in search of cartel drug runner boats.
The aircraft has been fitted out with a 40 mm cannon, which is more than adequate at dispatching small fast moving craft. The aircraft also carries Sea skua and  Maverick  missiles, and is capable of carrying Aim-9 sidewinders. Rocket pods gun pods and small LGB's can also be carried on the wing hard points, as well as drop tanks and electronics pods.
Under the nose is a FLIR ball, and further back under the fuselage is a search and track radar blister.
The kit is the Monogram 1/72nd scale one, which I have converted into a 2 seater,(but the canopy is crap)
I am not really happy with how this has turned out as I had too much on my mind whilst building it, so it could get ripped down to bare bones soon. But here is some pics anyway.

Cheers,
Chris.

Wow! That's one sleek machine, Chris! That canopy makes it look like a converted racer.

Damn, Chris, that is a sheer beast of a machine!!  Bit of a tail sitter she is, but she looks absolutely mean like that.

The canopy looks quite sleek like that I think - what'd you convert it from?  It looks like it should be on an F-15 or something, but it's been reversed to fit in quite nicely.

Overkill? Nah, it's Insurance.  So are the 20" guns.

I've got to add my vote in favor of the canopy as well. It sure works with those sleek engines to make this baby built for speed.

Nice!

Woah ! Look at that thing ! Love it. Very neat take on an updated variant. I like the colours as well, and the demarcation on the underside. Beauty.
