I noticed your thread after i posted this one, or I would have just bumped yours. sorry about that Mossie

Including vehicles makes sense, sometimes a figure needs to be "with" something rather than just standing alone... Tankers look funny leaning on invisible hatches!

No probs mate, glad someone could drum up some interest!  I seem to have a un-nerving ability to kill my own threads!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

By way of inspiration (and actually contributing something positive to this thread....), here are some figures I painted some 20-odd years ago. These are all Games Workshop, but date from the days when Warhammer 40K hadn't been invented, Warhammer was in it's infancy, and GW actually used to sell other people's games and figures. I rather fell out with them when they went over to only stocking their own stuff, thereby cutting off support to everybody who played something else.... >:(

Question...

Would converted action figures count? Or does the base figure have to be a from a model kit or scratch built?
Curious because If I can use a GI-Joe as a base it opens up a whole new playing field

say maybe turning these...

Into this kinda thing...

What if there is an exception that the articulation has to be removed or some such.
If it seems like to much of a cheat I understand, can't hurt to ask  ;D
